The French/Classics/International Languages Department includes the areas of French, International Languages and Classics.  These programmes naturally involve topics related to the language studies such as culture and heritage.  It is in this way students gain appreciation for other cultures and traditions.  The study of a second language can strengthen the understanding of the main language spoken, allowing for more critical and creative thinking skills to be utilized.  At O'Neill courses are offered in French, Italian and Latin, subject to student demand and teacher availability.
