Welcome to O'Neill’s website.  It has a wealth of information updated on a daily basis.  It is our hope that this website allows us to communicate effectively between the school, parents and community members.  What is evident from the information is that, this school is a vibrant place with activities occurring throughout the day and many beyond the school day.  The announcements informing students of these events are displayed on the TV monitors, mounted in the halls and Cafeteria.  Once again our hope is to increase our effectiveness in communication and limit interruptions to the instructional time.

This year we have two Vice-Principals new to O’Neill; Ms. Hackney and Mr. Geiger.  They bring a wealth of experience in school administration and leadership.  They are getting to know our students and staff very quickly and have already made a positive impact to our school community.

Also new to this school year was our Grade 9 Day.  The first day of school was dedicated to Grade 9 Students.  Under the leadership of Ms. Aunger, the student leadership team organized the day to introduce Grade 9 students to O’Neill and to promote student success.  It was a resounding success as noted by students, staff and parents.  We will look to plan this day on a yearly basis for all incoming Grade 9 students.
